The dynamic EMA channel is a trend analysis tool based on exponential moving averages (default setting: EMA 45 applied on the High and on the Low).
A simple yet effective visual tool to assist traders in understanding the general direction of the market (trend), and the speed of the trend while also giving clear reference areas on the chart regarding support and resistance across timeframes.

  • Price action takes place and develops above the dynamic EMA channel.
    TREND DOWN

  • Price action takes place and develops below the dynamic EMA channel.
    MARKET RANGING

  • Dynamic EMA channel remains flat.
    SUPPORT

  • While the trend is up and the channel is ascending, potential support areas can be identified within the dynamic EMA channel.
    RESISTANCE

  • While the trend is down and the channel is descending, potential resistance areas can be identified within the dynamic EMA channel.
