Pivots
The pivots tool utilizes the traditional pivot points calculation with a twist. Based on previous price action, indicated levels (R and S) above and below current price, point towards significant price decision levels where price gathers greater chances of turning. Traders also use these levels as targets to capitalize on market moves occurring within these levels and/or from level to level.
R – Resistance (level above the current price)
S – Support (level below the current market price)
- Weekly levels calculated at the start of each month
- Daily levels calculated at the start of each week.
- 1H/4H levels calculated at the start of each day.
- M15/M5/M1 levels calculated at the start of each hour.
