Measuring the speed and change of price can provide insight regarding the state of the market. Theory suggests that when an asset is overbought, buyers are overwhelming the price and the probabilities of a correction are increased. On the other side when an asset is oversold, sellers are overwhelming the price and the probabilities of a rebound are increased.

Timeframe groups:
Very long term: Monthly (MN), Weekly (W1), Daily (D1)
Long term: Weekly (W1), Daily (D1), 4 Hours (H4)
Medium term: Daily (D1), 4 Hours (H4), 1 Hour (H1)
Short term: 1 Hour (H1), 15 Minutes (M15), 5 Minutes (M5)
Very short term: 15 Minutes (M15), 5 Minutes (M5), 1 Minute (M1)
